Spritzing into Spring with Jasmine Scents

We know, we know: flowers for spring? Groundbreaking! But we’re talking here about jasmine, the “queen of the flowers.” The sensual, complex aroma of jasmine has inspired classic perfumes as well as many contemporary favorites, and we’re happy to offer several niche and artisanal interpretations of this sophisticated white floral at Bloom. Each one takes us on a different olfactory journey.

From Artimique, Jasmin Gyoruko’s bright and optimistic take on jasmine is a perfect starting point. Its composition balances a cluster of jasmine and other white florals with notes of citrus and pear and a green tea accord. A little bit fresh, a little bit fruity, casually elegant—Jasmin Gyoruko gives us everything we want in a spring perfume.

If Artimique brings us the fantasy of an orchard and garden in full bloom, ERIS Parfums takes us straight to the seashore. Belle de Jour’s surprising contrast of creamy florals with spicy and water-y notes makes this a perfume fit for modern-day mermaids and sirens. Evoking jasmine and orange blossom flowers placed on salty skin, Belle de Jour is anything but a flower-shop bouquet.

In Bangla Yasaman, Isabelle Larignon created a jasmine fantasy that crosses time and place. Inspired by an encounter with a flower vendor in Paris, she tells the scent-story of a man remembering the jasmine garlands worn by women in his native Bangladesh. This cross-cultural jasmine vision captures the opulent, almost flesh-like quality of the flower’s bold, beautiful aroma.

Which one speaks to you? You may want to try all three!
